on a rainy day

On a rainy and windy day with an umbrella in one hand and camera in another - it is pretty challenging - but fun at the same time. You must be fast, or your lens will be covered with rain. I love cloudy days photography - there is something very special about these dark days and if your object is something so amazing as Lithuanian Hill of Chrosses - what can you wish more?! This gallery is also one of my first experiments using RAW format on my full frame Sony A7 II. In skydiving photography I just don’t have time (and disk space) to deal with RAW format, therefore it is not common for me. But after this time - I’ll say short - it blew my mind and now RAW is default quality.

Photos are taken with Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* lens. These are really “must have” lens and my favourite lens right now for sure. Last two photos are taken with Sony FE 28mm f/2 lens.

CAN YOU GET MORE LUCKY?!

This is definitely one my all time favourites! Since it was raining and while taking a photo i was also holding an umbrella above me, there is no way I was intentionally trying to catch the bird in photo, although i got really really lucky!
